Mesmo jogando com o apoio dos fiéis, ou melhor, da claque, que lotou o Ginásio Municipal de Famalicão para ver a final, a selecção portuguesa perdeu por 2-0 com a Polónia, que se sagrou bicampeã europeia.
130 padres de 10 países europeus de forte tradição católica trocaram as batinas por ténis, calções e camisas neste campeonato, que já vai na sua quarta edição.
